In this workshop, I will introduce the KNIME Analytics Platform, an open source software for processing data and creating applications, with more than 2000 modules. KNIME can create visual workflows with a drag and drop style graphical interface without the need for coding. 
The content of this workshop will include instructions on how to: import textual data (RSS from digital Spanish newspapers, tweets, etc. ), preprocess documents by filtering and stemming, transform documents, and finally, how to visualize them.
