Identifying locations in the texts is an open NLP problem which we can face using different methods, ranging from very basic rules to very advanced machine learning models. During this workshop we will explore these machine learning models and also have an overview on how to determine which should be the country that corresponds to a given location, also keeping in mind that in most cases location names are not unique, and the same region can exist in different countries. ==
