What is “Brown Bag Series”?

The principal aim of Brown Bag Series is to give you a chance to develop academic interactions through research presentations in a relaxed atmosphere over lunch. The name comes from brown bags that are commonly used for sandwiches in the United States.

The fundamental principal of the LAINAC is to transmit and develop researches on the themes of Latin America or Iberia. Aiming to provide opportunities where both domestic and foreign researchers, graduate students and undergraduate students who are interested in studies from these areas will be able to interact with each other, LAINAC has been holding Brown Bag Series on a regular basis. It is held on the campus of the UTokyo, and anyone is welcome to join. The participation fee is free, and no need to make a reservation in advance.
