Ms. Emy Kameta (Secretary in charge of Academic Affairs at the Embassy of Mexico in Japan) and Dr. Kazuko Nagao (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM) came to the Hongo Campus on April 2, 2016. They listened to the final presentations delivered by the students from Spain and Latin America who participated in the TAKUMI program. In the 14-day program, about 30 students from UTokyo, Spain, and Latin America lived together in the Yoyogi district of Tokyo, traveled to the Fuji mountain region, and learned about Japanese culture through the meetings with several ”TAKUMIs” or grand maestros.
